At Accident Connect, your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit accidentconnect.law or use our online forms, contact options, or digital features.
Who We Are
Our website address is https://accidentconnect.law. Accident Connect is a privately owned, nationwide, group-advertising service. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. We connect people who submit their information with a sponsoring attorney in their geographic area who may be able to help with a potential claim.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information when you interact with our website:
- Personal details you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, and information about your potential claim submitted through our online case-evaluation forms.
- Technical information automatically collected through cookies and similar technologies, such as your IP address, approximate location, browser type, device information, referring pages, and how you interact with the site.
- Fraud-prevention information, including device and browser characteristics, automation and bot signals, form-interaction patterns, and the originating domain recorded by our consent provider. We use Fingerprint and TrustedForm to identify spam, automation, and potentially fraudulent submissions.
- Advertising and analytics identifiers, including cookie IDs and advertising click identifiers (for example, Google and Meta click IDs) and campaign parameters (UTM values) used to measure and attribute the marketing that brought you to the site.
- Consent and interaction records, including a TrustedForm certificate that documents the consent you provided, the consent language shown to you, timestamps, and records of calls, text messages, or other communications.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information beyond what you voluntarily submit through a form for the purpose of a legal case review, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Evaluate your inquiry and match you with a sponsoring attorney in our network.
- Contact you about your potential claim, including by phone, SMS/MMS, email, or automated technology where you have consented.
- Operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
- Comply with legal obligations and maintain business records.
Contact Forms and Consent
When you submit a case-evaluation form, we collect the details you provide along with your IP address to help prevent spam and ensure site security. By submitting a form and providing your express written consent, you agree that Accident Connect and its attorney and marketing partners may contact you at the number provided — including via automated technology, AI or prerecorded voice, and SMS/MMS — regarding your potential claim. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, and message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of communications at any time by following the instructions in a message or by contacting us.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
Cookies and similar technologies are small files or identifiers stored on your device. We and our partners use them to operate the site, measure performance, and support advertising and conversion measurement. The categories we use include:
- Necessary — required for the site and forms to function, including spam prevention and security.
- Analytics — to understand how visitors use the site. We use tools such as Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) and Vercel Analytics.
- Advertising — to measure and attribute ad campaigns and calls, and to support conversion tracking. We use tools such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google advertising tags, and CallRail call tracking, which assigns an identifier to your session so a phone call can be attributed to your visit and its marketing source.
When required, we present a cookie consent banner (managed through a consent management platform) that lets you accept or decline non-essential categories, and we honor recognized opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). You may also disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function as intended if cookies are turned off.
Embedded and Third-Party Content
Our website may include links or embedded materials such as articles, videos, or external content. When you interact with such content, those third-party sites may collect data or use cookies in accordance with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any external websites.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain submitted information only for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, to comply with legal obligations, or to maintain standard business records. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless retention is required by law.
Your Rights
You may request to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us through the methods provided on our website. Please note that we may retain limited information as required for legal, administrative, or security purposes.
U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and similar laws in other states), you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it is used;
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information;
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information and of targeted advertising; and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Because we share information with attorney and marketing partners and use advertising technologies, some of these activities may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under certain state laws. To exercise any of these rights, including to opt out, use the cookie-preferences control on the site or enable a recognized opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
How We Share Your Information
When you submit a form, your information is transmitted to the attorney, law firm, or marketing partner matched to your inquiry so they may contact you about your potential claim, and it may be loaded into their calling, messaging, and case-management systems for that purpose. We also use service providers that help us operate the site and process submissions, such as hosting, lead-delivery and dialing platforms, call-tracking, consent-verification (TrustedForm), and spam and security detection services, which process information on our behalf.
Aside from the advertising and analytics activities described above (which some state laws may treat as a “sale” or “sharing”), we do not sell or rent your personal information to unrelated third parties for their own independent marketing.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no online transmission or storage system is completely secure, and any data shared over the internet is done at your own risk.
Our fraud-monitoring tools may create a probabilistic device identifier and evaluate whether a browser appears automated. These results are used for security, quality monitoring, and fraud investigation; they are not sent to advertising platforms as bot-detection events.
Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect new practices or legal requirements. Any changes take effect when posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised accordingly.
